The retreat is located in Sitapur, roughly 20 to 22 km past the main town of Guptkashi. This location offers a massive strategic advantage for trekkers, as it is situated just a 10 to 15-minute drive (approx. 5 km) from the Sonprayag parking lot, bypassing the heavy morning traffic that backs up from Guptkashi. For helicopter passengers, the Phata helipad is about a 6 to 8 km drive back down the highway.
