While technically located a bit further up the road in Sitapur, Shivalik Valley Resort is heavily utilized by Guptkashi and Kedarnath travelers due to its premium amenities and massive scale.

Location & Accessibility

Located in Sitapur, the resort is situated much closer to the trek starting point than standard Guptkashi hotels. It is roughly 22 km past Guptkashi town and just 5 to 7 km from the Sonprayag parking area. This gives trekkers a massive advantage by drastically cutting down early-morning drive times. However, for those flying, it is roughly 7 km from the Phata helipad.
